This group is for anyone who has heard of a classic work of literature, and wished they knew more...It is ment to be an enjoyable, relaxing group who collectively selects a book to read & discuss. We may not meet every month, but maybe every few months-since some of the works may take some time to go through-it will all depend on the selection of the month. This will be a fun way to get together for stimulating conversations and insights on cultural classics!

We are an eclectic mix of readers. We welcome all comers - male and female, LBGT, liberal and conservative. We range in age from late 20s/early 30s to mid/late 50s. If you live in or near Silver Spring, can meet on the 3rd Sunday afternoon of each month, and like to read literary fiction, some history, and some biography, then this book club is for you. There are a lot of transplants in this area and a book club is a great way to get to know your neighbors.
