We write fiction and love reading literature. We want to talk with others who are on the fiction writing path about literature. We read excellent fiction, discuss it from a craft perspective, and practice writing pastiches based on those readings. We love the chance to share our pastiches with each other. Consider this a kind of graduate level literary fiction reading/writing/workshop. I am open to location/dates/times/number of times/number of members with the following caveats: If we are going …

If you live in or near Silver Spring, can meet in the late afternoon on the 3rd Sunday afternoon of each month, and like to read good literary fiction, some history, some biography, and maybe more, then this book club is for you. We will avoid mass fiction (like John Grisham, Janet Evanovich, Dan Brown, etc.) Come join us! [P.S. If your answer is "yes" to any of those questions, then join us! We meet the once a month to discuss a previously chosen book. We lean towards literary fiction and, to keep it interesting, we'll throw in a classic or two. Check us out!
